HARD SKIN ON THE FEET
Hard skin on the feet can be unsightly, and at times painful. It appears as we get older and can be due to weight gain and uneven weight distribution. It can also be caused by footwear and standing for long periods of time, especially on hard surfaces.
How to Prevent Hard Skin
Wear a comfort insole in your shoes to soften the force of impact as you walk or stand. If your hard skin is down to your gait and distribution of your weight, wear corrective insoles inside your shoes.
You will need to remove the hard skin with a foot file, and then follow with a good foot emollient to soften the skin and prevent the hard skin from recurring so quickly.
