Corticosteroid Injections
Corticosteroid injections are used to treat painful areas of the foot which lead to inflammation and swelling. Due to the complex structure of the foot and the way it works, it is very easy to suddenly agitate the smooth functioning of the foot. Corticosteroid injections work by targeting these areas of inflamed tissue and reducing swelling and redness.
Conditions treated can include, but are not limited to, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs and metatarsalgia. This is a very effective treatment and follows an in-depth consultation and examination which is needed to ensure suitability and health related contra-indications.
