Margaret Dabbs® London in the Press: September 2020

The last month has seen plenty of positive press coverage for Margaret Dabbs® London products.

Here’s a rundown of the items journalists and influencers have been loving in September 2020!

A heavenly hand sanitiser

With hand hygiene and social distancing measures tightening once again, it’s no surprise that interest in hand sanitiser has also been on the rise of late. Perfect for at home, at work and on-the-go, our Hydrating Hand Sanitiser has once again drawn praise from several quarters.

Elle called it a “bacteria busting gel” that’s “an essential for manicurists everywhere”, and emphasised the product’s “soothing fragrance”. Marie Claire also lavished praise on the sanitiser, calling it “one of the most pleasurable anti-bac sprays to use” that means “hands never feel tight or uncomfortable”.

In a guide called “Luxury hand sanitisers you’ll never want to leave home without”, Got The Gloss referred to the gel’s “powerful antibacterial properties” and the fact that it moisturises the hands, unlike many other sanitisers which can often dry the skin causing infection-inducing cracks. In a similar vein, The Handbook said it “leaves your hands feeling super smooth and nourished, rather than dry and cracked.”

The sanitiser was also featured on the beauty and lifestyle blog Chloé Loves To Shop, where it was described as a “skin-friendly gel formula” that leaves “hands feeling hydrated, clean and refreshed” and ensures “that your skin is left feeling soft and supple.”

Fabulous feet

The last knockings of summer have given way to the autumn – that means long walks in parks and wrapping up warm. But that doesn’t mean foot care has to be put on the back foot; indeed, our foot care products have also been enjoying the limelight.

Groomed & Glossy featured our Perfect Home Pedicure Set, touting it as an “essential kit” to “transform your feet” that comes with “an easy guide” (which you can check out here if you’re looking to transform your feet from home).

Elsewhere, there were glowing reviews for our Cracked Heel Treatment Balm, which Marianne Jones of Stella Magazine called a “powerful balm” that “has been a summer saviour”.

The balm was also the subject of a glowing review from India Knight in the Sunday Times Style supplement. Labelling it “a tiny little pot of magic” that “you can practically see working as the minutes tick by”, she praises the balm’s ability to give you new-looking feet “, which will happen about a third of the way through the pot”.
